Donna Marie Laino is a Nurse and Holistic Practitioner who finds joy in being a humorist, clown, life coach, writing and speaking. She is inspirational, insightful and intuitive in her approach to coaching and healing. Her passion is empowering people to be more.
Although Pediatrics and Public Health are her specialties, Donna Marie is a health educator in the Body/Mind/Spirit connection and she is a consultant with the American Academy of Pediatrics. As a holistic practitioner, she serves children, adults and animals. She is a Healing Touch Practitioner, and uses Mind/Body Pulsing, Energy and Chakra Balancing, Reflexology, Guided Imagery, Relaxation Techniques, and Essential Oils among other modalities in her work. Donna Marie is also a Certified Laughter Leader.
She sits on the Board of Peace Valley Holistic Center which services Special Needs Children, with a focus on Autism/parental education, stress, coping, and transition, and advocacy. Of note, Donna Marie is working on a grassroots project to start a free Patch Adams Health Clinic in Philadelphia.
Believing that knowledge is a powerful force in creating and planning, Donna Marie has achieved a Master’s Degree in Public Health Nursing from La Salle University and a Certification in School Nursing from Widner University. Currently, she is studying with Christina Pirello in the School of Natural Cooking and Integrative Health Studies.
Donna Marie holds certifications as a facilitator and coach for Bob Proctor’s Life Success Productions as well as Life Coaching from Nightingale-Conant.
She has clowned with Patch Adams, is highlighted in the documentary film “The Real Patch Adams” and profiled in the book “How to Survive and Maybe Even Love Nursing School!”.
Mentoring with the late Bill Gove, Bob Proctor, Steve Siebold and Jeff Herring has been life changing and instrumental in her life. Included in her many awards is “The Most Improved Tiger Award” from Bill Gove and Steve Siebold and “Who’s Who in American Nursing”.
Residing in Philadelphia, Donna Marie is the adoptive mother of two girls from Thailand.
Among her many hobbies she enjoys sailing, dancing, laughing, writing, speaking, music, nature, being adventurous and outrageous.
